Efficient Kapok Fiber Packaging At CV Memindo

CV Media Mitra Indonesia a company engaged in export. One of the products exported is kapok fiber. This company emphasizes export activities very intensively, at least 2 times a month. Every process of export activities is very important, one of which is stuffing. Stuffing is an important process which is very crucial if not done optimally.

Quality Control

Quality control (QC) in export activities is a series of procedures and actions designed to ensure that products to be shipped to international markets meet established quality standards and customer requirements. The main objectives of QC in exports are to prevent defective products, minimize risks, and ensure customer satisfaction in the destination country.

Another Quality Control process is checking the kapok using a metal detector. The purpose of this process to check whether there is metal in each packaged kapok or not. there is metal in the kapok packaging, it will be detrimental to the exporter because it is considered unprofessional and deceiving by the buyer.

Then, there is also a process of checking the water content of the cotton. The water content of the cotton will affect the quality of the cotton when it reaches the buyer. Excessive water content in the cotton is not good for the cotton when it is in the container.

Labeling

Labeling is the process of attaching or including information on a product that aims to provide important details about the product. It involves including relevant information on the product’s packaging or label that makes it easier for consumers to understand the product and meets regulatory requirements.

The labeling process is also an important part of stuffing. Providing label paper on each balle is very important. The label paper lists the weight and number of the balle. The label paper is attached to each balle in the upper position so that it can be seen easily.

Moving bales in containers

The next process is moving the bale of kapok into the container. Moving kapok is also not just a matter of placing it haphazardly, it needs optimal arrangement so that the bales can be arranged neatly and in accordance with established procedures. Effective placement can also avoid damage to the bales.
